The Complete Guide to On-Page and Off-Page SEO

Companies spend millions of rupees only on SEO. If you are new to the Internet and digital marketing, you will hear the term On-Page and Off-Page SEO over and over again.

What is SEO?

The extensive form of SEO is Search Engine Optimization. It is directly related to the search engine.  In a way, there are many ways to bring your website to the first page in the search engine so that traffic can be increased on our website.

Bringing the website to the first page is very challenging because most people visit the website that comes on the first page and for this, we have to follow the rules of SEO.

Our online business increases with increasing traffic on the website.  Also, the value of the website increases in the search engine, which increases the ranking of the website.

If we are looking for anything, it will quickly give the correct information.  For this, we need a roadmap of the search engine, called Seo (Search Engine Optimization).

People use SEO and traffic rules to get good results.  For example, if you want to search “What is SEO“, but you do not get accurate results.  This is about something else, so you have to search again and again, which makes your trip worse.  That is why the Google search engine uses SEO factors to provide useful and appropriate information.

SEO or search engine optimization is a practice so that we can bring our page into the search engine.  What is a search engine?  We all know that Google is one of the most famous Search engines but apart from this, bing, yahoo, and others are also present.  With the help of SEO, we are able to bring our page to the number 1 rank on all search engines.

If you want to know about SEO in a simple way, then you know that Google likes the content that the user likes to read.  The content liked by Google goes to the first page.  And if Google doesn’t like the page, it slowly goes down.  This is the most relevant factor of Google Seo.

There are 3 main parts to rank any website on google.

  • Technical SEO
  • On-Page SEO
  • Off-Page SEO

The technical SEO of your website should be absolutely perfect.  If the technical SEO of your website is correct, it does not mean that your website will start to rank on google.  Rather it means that your website has now become eligible to rank google pay.

On-Page SEO

On-page optimization has to be done for every post on your website.  Google and any search engine tell which topic your post is talking about and which keywords to rank your post with.  On-page optimization is very substantial.  It takes very little time and AI has to be done only once, but if you have done the on-page SEO correctly then there is a lot of chance that your website can be ranked on google or any search engine.  Will go.

To do On-page SEO, some of the things are required.

  • Content with images
  • Target Keywords
  • Yoast Plugin

 1.Content with images

Your content should be unique and of high quality.  Unique means there should be no copied content.  To check this, free plagiarism checkers such as duplichecker and Copyscape can be used.  If your content is copied then google will not rank your post.  High-quality content means content that can satisfy your website visitors.

Suppose you have made a post on how to invest in the share market, then this means that when people come to your post by searching on keywords in google, then they should understand in real how to invest in the share market and they should be confident that  The person who has written this post has very good knowledge of the share market.  The real length of your content should be 1500 -1800 words.  You will also have to create images for your post.

2.Target Keywords

For which keywords you have to rank your post, that you should have a complete list of keywords. Keywords Search is a very important process.  If you miss an important keyword, you can miss millions of rupees, which you could earn.

First, consider examples of the share market. Your target keywords are how to invest in the share market. Its monthly searchers are 17k but if you have not done a proper keywords search, and you have searched the second keywords, how to invest in the stock market.  Both have the same meaning and the monthly keywords of the other keywords are only 9.2k, if you miss it, you can miss millions of rupees.

Therefore your keyword search should be absolutely perfect.  There are many tools for keywords search such as google keywords planner, ubersuggest, long-tail keywords, etc.  You should also have 5 10 secondary keywords along with primary keywords.

3.Yoast Plugin

Yoast SEO is one of the most common WordPress plugins and it is clear to understand why yoast formulates it manageable for you to do things like command titles and meta descriptions, select your targeted keywords and trace how many times you employ them are sitemap manage, and more.  The SEO Premium version costs $ 69 for a site and provides additional features.

Some of these characteristics you can definitely get by employing free plugins, however, for those who are blogging to earn money or are using word press for their full-time business.  After inducting Yoast SEO, you can access the Yoast SEO dashboard by connecting to the new SEO tab in your WordPress dashboard.  If this is your first time using the plugin, you should see a big notice for SEO configuration for the first time.

How to bring the website page to the top in search?

Without considering On-page optimization practically, you cannot apply it to your blog content, and if you do not perform On-Page SEO activities of your post well then you cannot get better SERP.

1.SEO Friendly Permalink

Always make the permalink smaller and by taking the keyword together.

But why?

This is because Google gives more value to 3-5 words starting with permalink me of our post.  This means that we should place the targeted keyword in our URL.  As much as you place only the Main Keyword in your Permalink URL and keep the URL short, it will look different and smaller.

2. Keyword at the beginning of the title

Definitely, you place a targeted keyword (the keywords you want to rank on your post) for your post in ko title, and it is also good because it is the most important on-page SEO activities factor of Google.

But, with this, you should also pay attention to the keywords in your post at the beginning of the title.

It is possible that you are not able to start the title of some post directly with your targeted keyword, or if you are unable to make any meaning, then even try to ensure that you do not put your targeted keyword at the end of the title.

3. Surprise Multimedia

Creating content only with text is not enough, there should be a case that videos and images should also be in that content.

Because of videos and images, the user who visits your blog will stop for some time.  Which will reduce the bounce rate and increase the time on the page.

Bounce Rate: When the user comes to the blog and closes the blog without going to the second page without the blog.

Time on Page: How long is the Visitor staying on your site.

The question is, how is Multimedia good for SEO, Right?

If you add attractive videos and images to your content, it will reduce the bounce rate of your blog, that is, the user will close your site, its chances will be reduced which is good for Google SEO, and also the time on page will increase so that the user  If you stay on your site for a long time, then this is also good for Google SEO.

Overall, the google user behavior also checks how long the user stays on your site and how many users are closing your site without further study.

If a visitor comes to your content by searching from google and comes back from that content as soon as the page is loading, then it will have negative effects on your search engine ranking, so we should have a case that keeps that visitor on your site.

4. Keep the keyword in the first 100 words of the blog post

Your article or content should be targeted within the first 100-150 words, which is the first paragraph. Your content should have your keywords in it.

By using keywords within the first 100 words, Google understands what your page is about.

5. Reduce Loading Speed

Google also records how much loading speed of your blog.  That is, the speed of opening your blog should be fast.

To reduce this, you can compress high definition images on your blog, and if you have kept your blog on self-host then take fast speed hosting.  If you use Google Blogger (Blogspot) then you do not need to see about the power of hosting because in the blogger platform your site is hosted on google’s server.

Keep your costs in place that your site should be open in less than 4 seconds.  And if users come to your blog Indian then you should reduce the speed of your site.

Research has shown that 75% of users will not visit your site again if your site takes more than 4 seconds to open.

You can check the loading speed of your site by using GTMetrix.Com.

I have shared some important tips on how to reduce the loading speed of the website, which you must apply on your site.

6. Add Modifiers to your Title

Modifiers like “Best”, “Top”, “Famous”, “Guide”, “Complete Guide”, “Review”, “Helpful” etc.  Adding the title to your title can make it even more attractive.

Like you have to write content that has the theme “Tools of WordPress”.

And along with having site SEO on google, there will be a high chance that if users see the title of your blog content, first open the content of your blog first.

If you want to learn how to write a great title that will improve your SEO, then you should read this post of mine, in which I have told you 6 good ways to write a blog post title.

7. Use Social Sharing Buttons

What is the chance that after reading your content, the readers should share that content on their social profile?

Chances are very high when you use the social share button then users will share your content.

If you do not add the social share button, then the readers of your blog will be very few who copy the URL from the address bar and share it by posting on their social profile.

That is, it is very important to use the social share button if you want to make your content viral on the social site.

If you use the google blogger platform, then maybe you have a social share button option in your templates, if it is not there, then you can add a social share button separately.

And WordPress users can simply install the Digg plugin.

 8. Create a lengthy content

Research has shown, the longer the length of your content, the higher the chance it will be to rank on your google first page.

If you want a high ranking of the content and the topic of that content is also in very high competition, then you should try to write that the post should be written in at least 2000 words and if you write in more words then it is even better.

And a rule should be made that every content should be written in more than at least 1000 words.

9. Internal Links

An internal link means to add a link of old published content to your new content.  But add the internal links of the same content to the new content that is related to it.

If you want to see good examples of this, then that is Wikipedia, you will get 50+ internal links on average on every post on Wikipedia.

My suggestions about this would be to link at least 2-5 old content to the new content.  Due to which the bounce rate of your blog will also be lower because you are not giving the same content to the user, they are also forwarding more content along with it, so visitors will stop on your blog for more time to read.

10. Employ Keyword in H2 and H3

First, it makes your content more users friendly and second it will strengthen the on-page SEO optimization by placing keywords in it.

You also have to keep in mind that your keywords are not more than a limit, otherwise they also play keyword staffing.  Which is not good for us.  I have shared the information about what the limit of keywords should be, you can read it.

11. Image Optimization

  • Image Name

The image that you add to your content should also give the name of the image which is your target keyword.

  • ALT Tag

The second step of image optimization is to add the ALT tag.

  • Blogger

If you are a google blogger platform user, in its post editor there is an option to add the alt tag to the image.  Place your target keyword in ALT Tag as well.

  • WordPress

If you are a WordPress platform user, its post editor also has the option to add ALT Tag to the image.  For which just click on the edit button on the border of the image.

Another reason for doing image optimization is that it is easy for Google to know what your content is about.  Which will help you in getting search traffic?

12. Post Description

Our post which we have seen in the search engine or sharing in social media is the title, permalink and its description and post’s Thumbnail.

Seeing these, the user clicks on them.

Here is the information about how to add post description in Blogger and if you use word press, then use the SEO post plugin.

Hope this content is well explained to you on-page optimization, please give your feedback by commenting or if you have any question.
